Homeworlding, the wonderful recent dream-pop album by New Paltz-based Fraternal Twin, came out a couple months ago, in October, but I just found out about it recently. And yeah, it’s great. I saw his last album, Skin Gets Hot, at Rought Trade in Brooklyn. It had a little tag on it saying that the guy was based in New Paltz. I’ve been there and it’s a wonderful little upstate hippy town, so I thought, if this dude lives there and is recording cool stuff in his bedroom or whatever, and putting out LPs, it’s probably pretty legit.
